I played both this week for the first time and personally I would go with 'Subsistence'. It already has Multiplayer working and while it isn't as deep and complex as 'Hold Your Own' (with freaking Helicopters lol) it feels way more polished.

The forest and nature sounds are gorgeous, there is a steep learning curve and it doesn't hold your hand and because of that the game feels more rewarding. 'Hold Your Own' is too damn dark even in the middle of the day it feels like you're in a forest of shadows when you are supposedly on a tropical island? The night lasts foreverrrr. Also and maybe I am just nit picking but the constant ambient sound of flies is maddening and your footstep 3D audio is jacked, it sounds like enemies or other animals are approaching from your sides anytime you move forward. Perhaps there are fixes or tweaks for these issues that I am not aware of since I am new but these are my first impressions with the game.

I also own and like Landless but updates are rather slow. If I didn't have any of them I'd still buy all three, money really isn't an issue at all.But saying they're survival building games with pve is sort of like saying an apple and a pear are both fruits with seeds.OK, but so what? They taste different, their texture is different and it's kind of silly to say; 'if I have an apple, why would I want a pear'. Originally posted by:I agree with Zuleica. Both are good games and are different in their own ways. They are both not that expensive. Both the devs for these two games are awesome and keep dellivering.I play both and dont compare one with the other.I just enjoy playing them both now:) i just bought both and hold your own is not so much 'grindy' but holy ♥♥♥♥ it takes wayyyyy to long to build things in the game. Just one wooden plank is 3 minutes.

Iv heard subsistence is like that too but i havent had a chance cause i keep ♥♥♥♥ING dying. It's awesome after you actually get used to a new game and its mechanics, but some people like to have multiple playthroughs at the same time going. One that fits one mood and another for when you feel like going balls to the wall.

Master of Monsters Vol. 2 Ch.14 Part 1. This is my first attempt at translating so it my be a bit rough but I did my best on the damn long chapter. I looked into the small open space area a little ways from the gap in the trees. A group of approximately 20 people were taking a break there. Master of Monsters Volume 2 Chapter 5. Sorry this took so long to finish. I had problems last week and lost most of my work. A hard lesson has been learnt and I’ll make sure not to repeat that mistake. Priority's Monsters of Rock is a budget-priced collection spotlighting heavy metal, hard rock and pop-metal artists. Monsters of Rock, Vol. 2: Metal Masters showcases hard-hitting, guitar shredding anthems, and there are enough hits and strong songs to make it worth its budget price. Master of monsters volume 2.

Honestly, I like games that have a base normal difficulty that is somewhat hard but allows me time to adjust to the game while still progressing, but also gives me options to have multiple playthroughs so that I can have one on a harder mode for days when I want to get as much hell back as I can give out and another for days when I just want to explore or craft and wind down and relax, too. Originally posted by:Sorry to dig up an old thread, but was the first thing that came up when i filteredI just tried Deadside but it feels way to clunky to the point it was jarring, Is there anyone here who has played Deadside, Hold your own and Subsistence, does Hold your own and Subsistence feel as bad when moving character and mouse/aiming?Thanks I dont get any jarring in either of the games. The only time I get any type of a lag spike is in HYO when it autosaves. Autosave can be turned off so that doesnt have to be an issue.
