Is the one I've been using, From what I understand the only difference between RC and CH is.the textures. And that RC doesnt have Transcension yet (Fully restarting including ancients in return for Ancient Souls)No idea whats good or bad about my choice, just that it works for CH pretty well, and seems to work fine with RC.Clicker Heroes = Ragnarok Clicker-Argaiv = IfritAtman = MoonlightBubos = ThanatosChronos = BacsojinDogcog = MistressDora = DrakeFortuna = PheeroniKumawakamaru = EddgaLibertas = ArchangelingMammon = GarmMimzee = DetaleMorgulis = Dark LordSiyalatas = AngelingSolomon = Lord of Death. You'd actually be surprised at how off some of the rules of thumb are.

They will do in a pinch, but they aren't perfect.Best example of some of it I don't agree with is how gold ancients (or cards in this case) are handled. The original rule of thumb was based off gold being equal to your main card then subtracted out for ability uptime in some really ridiculous attempt to make idle build and active build have the same gold gain properties. This to me sounds dumb as hell, plus that really doesn't play into efficiency at all. It's an assumption with faulty math to try and make a balanced number between the two builds. There are plenty of other examples of general wrongness in the ch reddit community.

Another of my favorites is the 'treebeast has the best efficiency' then pulling math only using every 1000th level on treebeast instead of looking and the full spectrum. Ivan gold for gold outpaces treebeast and I even went as far as doing up a calculator that spent equal amounts into all heroes then graphed out their percentages of the total damage over the course of 50 gold spent up to a centillion spent.Either way, the community assumes and tends not to look at the larger picture when it comes to making this crap up. Thats is why i always keep gold and main cards at equal level disregarding any calcs (altho i dont need to use them at all). But at same time Rule of Thumb to keep Morgulis' level at (main card's level +1)^2 is very sound as it would take roughly same amount of HS to increase level of any of them by same%. There was never 'treebeast has the best efficiency'.

It was 'The great 5 have best efficiency' (Treebeast, Ivan, Brittany, Samurai, Seer) until you are able to move all your gilds to Samurai or your Atlas reaches level 1000 at which point the latest hero that is able to reach level 1000 is most efficient. So those calculators aren't remotely accurate at all at this point. Build royale. Well, they still can be used for RC to get a rough apprixomization of how to distribute your BMs between Dark Lord and Active/Idle, Garm, Detale and Ifrit. The ratios for optimal leveling between them hasn't changed much over versions. This is sort of what I was looking for. I get that the ratios for some of the CH calculators may not be perfect, but it sounds like they may still be creating generally decent results if you use them.

I always assumed what happened is that people give good starting advice and then jump into endgame with their dialogue and leave out a bunch of the details. If you dig depper in the discussions, there is sporadic mention of Eden being better overall, but it's usually buried in the Mageander - Ward - Drake discussion.Another thing I find interesting is that you have two camps when it comes to Battle Manuals. The power five nonsense was a round about circlejerk of misusing math to back up bad claims and poor gilding practices. Out of those 5, Ivan exceeded all of them.

By the point when you'd have to move gildings off Ivan anyhow, it wasn't even worth migrating them to Samurai. Every one of those power five topics was 'look at this misinformation I charted out proving Treebeast reigns supreme until he hits the multiplier cap'. Naw, get that junk out of here. And then you have the trolls on this board that keep posting those 'look how easy this game is' stuff with hacked saves to show off mageanger (aka treebeast) dominating a few hundred levels without needing any of the multipliers off the other heroes skill unlocks.CH is full of bad advise and people misconstruing math like politicians misconstrue the truth to back up their bad advise.

This is truthfully no different. Originally posted by:some stuff I snipped (sorry)Yeah this bad advise proceeds even to this day on both games. In regards to the other things you mentioned, there is mathematical ways to prove when its better to up dark lord and when its better to up your main damage card.

This is something Niz touched on in his reply to me earlier. That math is fairly solid and has been for some time. I choose to work mine differently than the original guy that donated that rule, but it works out fairly close to the same regardless. The disparity comes from this being Ragnarok players poking about on an clicker game. If you were to say 'go purely gold ancients' in a CH reddit or steam forum, you'd be instantly flamed.

Most the real math nerds can agree the math being used in CH currently for gold calculations is laughable at best. That's not to say it's unimportant, but it's certainly not more important than damage. The reason most people don't really toss too much fuss over it is the general concensus is they are about equal parts so the rule of thumb just rots on the bad logic for now. You need both damage and money to keep chugging along until the game grows exponential to where your linear progression leads you, then reset and try again with better numbers thanks to investing back your manuals. But to say you need just one or just the other is well.

Silly at best.
