The sport of Supraball is the most popular one among a people which we as humans are most often not too aware of. Their resemblance to stick figures is startling, but their true nature and origin is yet unknown. However, one thing we can say for certain: They love playing Supraball! 'What is Supraball? - imagine you're playing fifa, controlling just one player. Okay now imagine that each other player is a real person. Okay now imagine you're in first person, and you have this super awesome cannon with dozens of combinations of spins that fires a yellow ball at 400km/h. Okay now imagine you've fired that into the top corner at that speed - and someone saves it. The basic game rules of Supraball are quite similar to human sports such as soccer, hockey, basketball and many others. The abilities of Supraball players, however, by far exceed those of ordinary people. Their high jump capability and use of specialized ball cannons turn this sport into a fast-paced game which attracts many of their people to watch its most excellent players at spectacular events. Gameplay is polished and fun and definitely has that 'easy to learn, hard to master' kind of hook to it. Fantastically fun with a small group of people, lots of strategy and varied styles of play (not just how different it is to play goalie vs striker, but in terms of how you prefer to play those roles as well).

Essentially zero marketing/advertising check (the few big streamers that did play all gave a negative review or couldn't even play the game like Cryaotic), devs have poor relationship with most of the community check, devs release the game overpriced at 20$ check (you can't price your early access game at the same price as Rocket League which is your competitor), steam's new review system just destroyed Supraballs rating check mate (who will buy a game with mostly negative reviews). I have always been optimistic but that optimism was just arrogance on my part. I just hope another dev studio sees the potential with this genre and can produce a high quality product. FeelsBadMan with a gun. Vendetta, a key part of what you say is not true.

We had lots of attention for the game by youtubers and they played without any problems. When you look at what happened really closely you will see that the real problem we have is the retention rate of players. Tons of people played the game and according to them they even enjoyed it. We had times where we had 17 matches running simultaneously. So the challenge at hand is finding out why they did not return and fix those reasons.Reactionary dev-bashing is a way too simple approach. We lost all of these players because often times they had to play with veterans if they wanted to get a unranked 5v5 going. And so we have a problem now, if we play with the new players they will get mad at us or discouraged to continue to play because we are much better.

I don't agree with creating a artifical game environment for newer players in unranked/ranked, they should be able to see the skill gap (it's not fun for veterans to play dumb, and its not a realistic representation of potential skill for new players). However it might've been a good idea to have a few beginner pub servers where anyone over like 2500xp can't join.I don't mean to come across as 'dev bashing' I just don't see how Supraball can succeed after this latest Steam Customer Review change downgraded Supraball's review to mostly negative. And most of those reviews are complaining about the player population not the actual gameplay. NA Supraball is super dead, only 10-15 players still play ocassionaly. But you can't understand when you already played 1.500h.I won't stop playing btw, just because they are ppl with bad mentality, but I came here to give a feedback, to help the devs, unlike you.
